Tiny Tot School Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, please listen to your radio for Harford County Public School openings and closings. Please DO NOT call the school on these days with school closing questions.


When Harford County Public Schools Are Closed, Tiny Tot School Is Closed.

Tiny Tot School is forced to close when Harford County Public Schools are closed due to church policy. Bel Air United Methodist Church policy is that when the county public schools are closed, the church is closed and all functions held in the church are canceled.


When Harford County Public Schools Are 2 Hours Late Then Tiny Tot A.M. Classes Will Meet 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Therefore, The P.M. Classes Will Meet From 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. No Snack is Needed On This Day.


When Harford County Public Schools Are 1 Hour Late Then Tiny Tot A.M. Classes Are One Hour Late.


The Tiny Tot School Schedule will not be changed due to any days missed because of inclement weather or other unforeseen causes.

Preschool Information


Overview


  • 5 day per week program
  • Morning session 9:00 - 11:30 AM;
    Afternoon session 12:30 - 3:00 PM
  • 11:1 student/teacher ratio
  • Program emphasizes socialization and kindergarten readiness skills

Our 4 year old program is a 5-days-per week program and concentrates on preschool concepts and readiness skills in preparation for kindergarten.

The program includes outdoor play, use of gymnasium, music and music appreciation, self-esteem unit, computer interaction, weekly science and social studies lessons, and field trips.


The 4 year old program is divided into morning and afternoon sessions. Morning sessions time is between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Afternoon sessions are between 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM.


Although we are not a co-op, we do offer opportunities for parents to come into the classroom to help out if they choose to do so.

Manna House Donations

Tiny Tot School is continuing to collect non-perishable food items for Manna House, a soup kitchen which helps feed seniors and the homeless of Harford County. Donations may be placed in the box outside Room 102.
