Tiny Tot School Pre-K

Pre-K Overview

The Pre-K program is for children who are 4 years old by September 1st.  Students who attend the afternoon class may turn 4 years old by December 31st.  Our Pre-K program emphasizes socialization and academics.

The curriculum focuses on preschool concepts and readiness skills in preparation for kindergarten.  These include pre-reading/pre-writing skills, math concepts, music appreciation, monthly artist & author studies, science exploration, social studies lessons and Spanish.  The students enjoy musical experiences, art projects, physical education, chapel time, field trips and performances for parents.

  • 5-day morning class:  9:00 – 11:30 a.m. ~ Monday through Friday
  • 5-day extended class:  9:00 – 1:00 p.m. ~ Monday through Friday**
  • 3-day afternoon class:  12:30 – 3:00 p.m. ~ Monday, Wednesday, Friday

**The extended class offers the same curriculum as the Pre-K classes while providing a longer school day in preparation for a full day of kindergarten. The curriculum allows for enhanced physical and musical activities, increased socialization opportunities and additional reinforcement of Pre-K skills. Games, interactive group activities and purposeful play are used to support learning in fun and exciting ways.
